New Dublin Press Performing Poetry Project

  • James Joyce Centre 35 North Great George's Street Dublin, Dublin Ireland (map)

This collaboration arises from poets Annemarie Ní Churreáin, Kinga Tóth and Kimberly Campanello’s shared emphasis on the musicality and materiality of language – from Hungarian, to German, to Irish, to English, to Sanskrit – including the physical processes of shaping language in poetry performance. In this piece, the poets have meditated upon the themes of borders, cycles and the taking of life. The performance will be followed by a discussion led by New Dublin Press editor and publisher Jonathan C. Creasy, and we will open up the conversation to the audience. Full details here.
